Unique music festival is coming to the Dubai Metro
In a city with the tallest tower, an observation point shaped like a picture frame and a aquariums in shopping malls, nothing that Dubai could propose is outlandish.
This is why this makes it the perfect city to host the Metro Music Festival, the world’s first music festival to take place entirely inside a rapid transit system. The festival takes place from March 17 to 23.
Brand Dubai, a unit of the Dubai Media Office, announced the event on March 11, just six days before a variety of musicians descend on five Dubai Metro stations.
The music festival will be entirely free, and is expected to draw large crowds to Burjuman, Union, DMCC, Mall of the Emirates and Burj Khalifa stations.
Twenty-five musicians from all over the world will be entertaining the public, with a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional genres represented. The schedule hasn’t yet been announced, but every artist is expected to make an appearance at least once at the chosen five stations.
This is just one of many festivals and events that Dubai is hosting this year, from World Art Dubai to the Sikka Art Fair.
From The Palm Tower to One Palm Dorchester Collection, Copperstones has a variety of properties that have advantageous access to the Dubai Metro and all the cultural offerings of the city,
