Dubai unveils plans for a massive walk of fame

The new attraction will be set along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, the main street of Downtown Dubai.

The launch event later this year is expected to feature over 400 celebrities. Emaar is currently asking the public to nominate their favourite people who have contributed to culture, sports, literature, architecture and other categories.

The list will not be limited to artists of the traditional media like films and music, but will also have a modern spin, as social media influencers are honoured for their contributions to pop culture.
