Dubai to build 50 new parks in 2019
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s Crown Prince, has issued new directive to build new playgrounds.
While the city is known for its spectacular tourist destinations, including theme parks and grand public square, sometimes a family just wants to go for a stroll and relax. The aim is mostly to ensure that children are active.
The addition of 50 new playgrounds throughout Dubai will surely be seen as a boon for families, as well as for property values.
Like other public amenities, parks and green spaces have been proved since the early 19th century to boost the profile and value of nearby developments and areas. Countless reports and academic studies have shown that a room with a green view can raise the value by 20%.
While the 50 parks are the target, the actual locations are unknown at this time. Communities like Al Barari, which is lush with green spaces and parks, are unlikely, but areas around Downtown Dubai, which is rising in population sharply likely will.
