Cityscape signs important real estate agreement with Dubai Land Department
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and Informa Middle East, organiser of the region’s foremost real estate platform, Cityscape. Signed by His Excellency Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, and Tom Rhodes, Exhibition Director at Cityscape, the strategic agreement acknowledges Cityscape as an important partner in promoting real estate investment in Dubai.
The new agreement focuses its efforts on promoting Dubai as an attractive regional and international investment destination and strengthening its position as a prime investment hub. The Cityscape portfolio will play an important role in highlighting investment opportunities in the region while also showcasing major real estate properties to international and regional investors.
Copperstones is particularly content with this development since the company has participated in various Cityscape events in the UAE and the Middle East, recognizing the value of this platform. As a preferred marketing partner for many international developers, Copperstones markets various developments via large-scale events such as Cityscape Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar. The team finds the platform an excellent opportunity to showcase properties, meet with potential investors and reconnect with past clients. Our growing portfolio in the Middle East reflects our goals to create a stream of luxury investments in the Emirate.
HE Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of DLD commented: “Dubai ranked highest on the list of global cities that are most attractive for foreign direct investment (FDI). As a result, Dubai has rapidly evolved into a global business and investment hub, and DLD looks forward to strengthening our Emirate’s position and achieving consistent success in the industry, ensuring the sustainable growth of our real estate sector.”
The partnership between DLD and Cityscape will reinforce the confidence in the Emirate’s real estate sector by attracting FDI as Expo 2020 is on the horizon.
Tom Rhodes, Exhibition Director at Cityscape, said: “Dubai is truly an important hub for investors from all over the world thanks to its buoyant economy, advanced infrastructure, high ROIs, transparent investor environment, and the legal and legislative structure that guarantees the rights of all parties. Regional and international investors are looking to invest in cities with these unique ingredients, and the ability to adapt to the demands of global markets and investors’ expectations makes Dubai a shining example.
Copperstones looks forward to returning to Cityscape in October, when international developers, estate agents, government authorities, and investors will meet in Dubai.
